These are seven factors that
distinguish GCiS:
1) We do the fieldwork as well as the analysis
and recommendations. For the fieldwork, nothing
is outsourced. As such, the analysis and final
results are based upon demonstrably reliable
data.
2) We have experience researching hundreds of
product categories, and a very wide range of
vertical markets, all in the China context.
This, plus our technical focus, allow us to
research and provide reliable information on
specific technical markets.
3) A very high percentage of our clients repeat,
most appreciate the recommendations we provide
to them, and many implement at least part of
these. Our recommendations are practical and
actionable in
the China context.
4) All of our projects use our Project Management
System. This takes proven international methods
and integrates these into Chinas special
operating conditions. And this ensures that
projects are done systematically, and is our
most important measure of quality control.
5) GCiS are not arm-chair consultants- everything
we do is research-based, though this has diverse
applications, including market assessments,
partner searches, feasibility studies, channel
analysis, customer satisfaction studies, etc.
6) About 85% of the projects we do are on a
strategic basis, such as a key decision our
client needs to make, addressing a problem in
the market, or launching a new product.
7) We can present to any level of management,

addition, the knowledge provided can be at different
